Kate Woodward Young, M.Ed., PCC, is an early childhood professional, entrepreneur, author, speaker, and host of Childcare Conversations.
A former SBA Business Analyst and ICF Professional Certified Coach, Kate has spent her career helping people make better decisions—about their businesses, their teams, their careers, and what comes next. She has helped prepare more than 4,500 early childhood directors and is the co-author of 11 books focused on the real business and people challenges of early childhood.
Kate is known for asking the questions other people may be thinking but haven’t said out loud. Her work sits at the intersection of people, decisions, and reality, with a simple belief at the center of it all: strong businesses matter, clear decisions matter, and children are not widgets.
